To enter/review/modify the taxpayer's or spouse's social security number in the return:

1. From within your TaxAct return (Online or Desktop), click Federal. On smaller devices, click the menu icon in the upper left-hand corner, then select Federal
2. Click Basic Information in the Federal Quick Q&A Topics menu to expand the category and then click Name and address
3. The taxpayer's information is on the Tell us about yourself screen and the spouse's information is on the Tell us about your spouse screen
