Social Security Number - Entering in Program

To enter, review, or modify the taxpayer's (or spouse's) social security number in the return:

  1. From within your TaxACT return (Online or Desktop) click on the Basic Info tab
  2. Click Personal Info directly below the Life Events tab
  3. The taxpayer's information is on the first screen, titled Name, Social Security Number and Date of Birth, and the spouse's is on the following screen, Spouse
