Form W-2 - Filing Multiple Copies

You can report more than one Form W-2 in the TaxAct program. You might receive more than one Form W-2 if you changed jobs or worked for more than one employer during a tax year.

To report more than one Form W-2, follow the steps below. 

Online 
Dashboards 
  1. From within your TaxAct return, click Income
    • On smaller devices, click the menu at the top left corner of your screen, then make your selection. 
  2. Under Quick Add, click the plus sign (+) to add Form W-2. 
    • Alternatively, expand the Wages and Salaries drop down and click Add to the right of Wages, Salaries, & Tips
  3. You can choose Manual entry, Upload a file, or Take a pic. Make your selection, then follow the interview process to finish adding your Form W-2.  
  4. At the end of the interview process, you will be asked if you want to add another W-2. Click Yes if you have another one to add now. 
Classic Navigation 
  1. From within your TaxAct return, click Federal
    • On smaller devices, click in the top left corner of your screen to expand the menu, then make your selection. 
  2. Click the Wages and Salaries drop-down, then click Wage income reported on Form W-2.
  3. Click + Add Form W-2, then fill out the form with the relevant information.
Desktop
  1. From within your TaxAct return, click Federal.
  2. Click the Wages and Salaries drop-down, then click Wage income reported on Form W-2.
  3. Click + Add Form W-2, then fill out the form with the relevant information.
