The Professional Electronic Filing Report is presented when the Refresh icon is clicked in the Professional Reports section. The Professional Electronic Filing Report contains the status of all electronically filed returns.

The Submission ID Number displayed on that report does not automatically transfer to Form 8879. You can enter the ID number on Form 8879 in the program after the return is accepted by the IRS, or manually enter the ID number on a printed hard copy.
