Report IPERS (Iowa Public Employees Retirement System) in Box 14 as it appears on the Form W-2 document.
If you qualify for the Retirement Savings Contribution Credit, manually enter the Box 14 IPERS amount as a contribution to a retirement plan.
To enter Form 8880 Credit for Qualified Retirement Savings Contributions information in your TaxAct® return:
From within your TaxAct return (Online or Desktop) click on the Federal tab. On smaller devices, click the menu icon in the upper left-hand corner, then select Federal
Click Other Credits to expand the category, then click Retirement savings contributions credit
The program will proceed with the interview questions for you to enter or review the appropriate information
