There is no direct way to remove your ex-spouse’s information from your return if you have imported this information.

To remove your ex-spouse's occupation:

1. From within your TaxAct return (Online or Desktop), click Basic Info. On smaller devices, click in the upper left-hand corner, then click Basic Info.
2. Click the Personal tab, then temporarily change your filing status back to Married (even if only one had income) and click Yes.
3. Click the Review tab, click Edit on the Spouse box, remove/clear your ex-spouse's Occupation, then click Continue.
4. Click the Personal tab, change the relationship status back to whatever you will be filing this year, then click Continue.

When you print preview your return, the ex-spouse’s occupation information will now be gone.
