To indicate you are a clergy member, minister, member of a religious order, or Christian Science practitioner, and filed Form 4361:

1. From within your TaxAct® return (Online or Desktop) click Federal. On smaller devices, click in the upper left-hand corner, then select Federal.
2. Click Taxes to expand the category, then click Self-employment tax adjustments
3. Check the box [Taxpayer] has an IRS approved Form 4361 or [Spouse] has an IRS approved Form 4361

If you have some income that is exempt from self-employment tax due to Form 4361 and some which is not exempt, use the following steps to enter the income subject to self-employment tax:

1. Click Federal. On smaller devices, click in the upper left-hand corner, then select Federal.
2. Click Taxes to expand the category, then click Self-employment tax adjustments
3. Continue to the screen titled Self-Employment Tax - Adjustments and enter the amount subject to self-employment on the line for Other adjustments
