To access an existing current-year return:

1. Sign In to your TaxAct Account
2. Click Continue Where I Left Off to open your most recently accessed current year return, or click the My Taxes tile to access other tax returns.
3. In the My Taxes page, click to expand the appropriate tax year, then click the Open Return link under Actions on the right to access a return.

Note. Returns from 2018 and older are no longer available for editing on TaxAct Online. You may download a PDF of your returns from 2016-2018 from My Taxes or visit the IRS Get Transcript page.

To access a return from a previous tax year:

1. Sign In to your TaxAct Account
2. Click the My Taxes tile
3. Click the bar that lists the tax year of the return you need
4. In the Actions column, click Download
5. Open the downloaded PDF file. With the PDF file open, you can view, save, or print the return.
