Open TaxAct Professional SmartExtract™
TaxAct Professional will open on your computer. Follow any prompts that appear while the software starts.
Once TaxAct Professional is open:
- Sign in, if prompted.
- Open the 2025 individual return you want to work with.
- From the menu, select Import > SmartExtract™ (BETA).
- SmartExtract™ will open for that return.
You may close this browser window after TaxAct Professional has opened.
