What is Software Purchase Assistance¹ (SPA)?

A SPA, or Software Purchase Assistance Agreement is a loan program designed by Republic Bank in which the bank will pay for your TaxAct Professional software. Once next tax season begins, the Bank Product process works as normal except the amount due to Republic Bank will simply be deducted from your tax preparation fees until paid in full.
