If you have already downloaded and installed TaxAct Desktop or TaxAct Professional, you can verify that you have the latest version at any time:

1. Click Online in the upper menu.
2. Click Check for Updates.
3. Follow the instructions to choose the desired federal or state update.

This process will verify that you have the latest version of the program. Your data will not be lost when upgrading your product -- any data previously entered will be retained.
