If you need to print a copy of Form 4868 (Automatic Extension of Time to File) that you completed with TaxAct there are two methods of doing so.  Both options are detailed below.

One method is to return to the extension steps and after reviewing your entries you may print a copy of the form.  Please note although the current date is requested in this process the date is not printed on the 4868.

From the Filing tab:
1. Go to www.taxact.com (clicking this link will open a new window).
2. In the upper right corner of the page, click on the Sign In button.
3. Enter your Username and Password and click the Sign In button.
4. Scroll to the bottom of your Account Management page and click the My Taxes tile.
5. Find the return you used to complete the extension and click the Open Return link to the right of the return.
6. Navigate to the Filing tab.
7. Click on the File Extension link directly below the tabs.
8. The program will proceed with the interview questions for you to review. On the screen titled Form 4868-Filing, you will have the option to print.

The second method is to go to the Print Center and use the Custom Print option.  This process requires any applicable product fee to have been paid.  This menu may not appear on devices with smaller screens.

From Custom Print:
1. Go to www.taxact.com (clicking this link will open a new window).
2. In the upper right corner of the page, click on the Sign In button.
3. Enter your Username and Password and click the Sign In button.
4. Scroll to the bottom of your Account Management page and click the My Taxes tile.
5. Find the return you used to complete the extension and click the Open Return link to the right of the return.
6. From within the return, go to the My Return drop down menu in the upper right corner and choose Print Center.
7. From within the Print Center, choose Custom Print.
8. In the top section check Form 4868 to have it generated.
9. Click the Print button on the bottom left.
10. On the following screen click the link ending in .pdf to view the selected form(s).  From here you can choose to print.
