To assist the U.S. Government fight terrorism and money laundering, Federal law requires American Express to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who applies for a Card.

What this means for you: when you choose Serve as your Refund method, American Express will ask for your name, a street address, date of birth, and an identification number, such as a Social Security number that Federal law requires us to obtain.  

Email address and Mobile phone are also required for contact information.  We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
