If you previously filed IRS Form 4868 for an automatic extension of time to file, your tax return must be submitted by October 15.
To e-file or paper file your return, simply sign in to your TaxAct Online account or open your TaxAct Desktop software. Click Basic Info to start the interview questions. When you're ready to file your return, click Filing and complete the filing steps.
