In order to remove the Paid Preparer information from the Federal Form 1040:

1. In Forms View, expand the Federal folder in the left navigation pane
2. Expand the Information Worksheets folder
3. Expand the Basic Information - Basic Information folder
4. Double click the Federal Basic Information worksheet to open it
5. In the Paid Preparer / Electronic Return Originator (ERO) Information section, check the following box: Do not include paid preparer information on this return.
