Signing In From A New Location

We take account protection seriously, and will email you when:

  • You sign in to your TaxAct Account for the first time on a different computer, phone, or browser.
  • Your IP address has been changed by your internet provider (meaning your location might have changed).

If you’re aware of the sign-in change, no action is required.

If you receive an email about a new sign in that is not you, sign in to your TaxAct Account online, then click My Preferences to review your recent locations or to change your password.
