Please make note of your exclusive Username and Password, and keep them on file for future access to your TaxACT Online return. We will NEVER e-mail your exclusive Password or verify it with you over the phone. Due to stringent security measures, our representatives are not capable of accessing that private and secure information. If you forgot your username and password, you may try one of the following options:
- Forgot your UserName? - Enter your e-mail address and we will send your User Name to you.
- Forgot your Password? - Enter your User Name, Secret Answer to your Secret Question, pick and confirm a new password and submit the request. The system will then email you a password request validation email. You should open this email, click the link contained therein and enter the new password you chose at the validation page. This will complete the password reset process for you.
If you have forgotten or misplaced your Password, and cannot remember the answer to the secret question, you will need to start a NEW return as the secret question is the final piece of verification needed to change any information on your account.
