Setting your internet connection properties:

  1. Click the Windows "Start" button.
  2. Select Settings / Control Panel.
  3. Double click the Internet Options icon.
  4. Select the Connections tab.
  5. Click the 'Always dial my default connection' radio button option.
  6. Select your internet provider in the 'Dial-up and Virtual Private Network Settings' box. (For example: America Online, from the list of dial-up settings.)
  7. Click the "Set Default" button on the right side, and click OK.

After these changes have been made, go back in to TaxACT and try submitting your return again.
