Form 1099-K Merchant Card and Third-Party Network Payments must be entered in to the TaxACT program through one of the following schedules:
Schedule C:
- From within your TaxACT return (Online or Desktop), click on the Federal Q&A tab
- Click Business Income to expand the category, and then click Business income or loss from a sole proprietorship
- Click Add to create a new copy of the schedule or Review to review a schedule already created
- Continue through the interview screens until you reach the screen titled Business Income - Income, then click Yes
- Click Continue or No until you reach the screen titled Business Income - Form 1099-K, then click Yes
- The program will proceed with the interview questions for you to enter or review the appropriate information
Schedule E:
- From within your TaxACT return (Online or Desktop), click on the Federal Q&A tab
- Click Rent or Royalty Income to expand the category, and then click Real estate rental income
- If prompted, click Add to create a new copy of the schedule or Review to review a schedule already created. If you are creating a new form, click Rental Income on the screen titled Rental and Royalty Income - Topics.
- Click Continue or No until you reach the screen titled Rental Income - Form 1099-K, then click Yes
- The program will proceed with the interview questions for you to enter or review the appropriate information
Schedule F:
- From within your TaxACT return (Online or Desktop), click on the Federal Q&A tab
- Click Business Income to expand the category, and then click Farming income or loss
- Click Add to create a new copy of the schedule or Review to review a schedule already created
- Continue through the interview screens until you reach the screen titled Farm Income - Income, then click Yes
- Click Continue or No until you reach the screen titled Business Income - Form 1099-K, then click Yes
- The program will proceed with the interview questions for you to enter or review the appropriate information
