IRC section 7216 requires tax software companies to receive a customer's consent before showing any third-party options, such as different ways to pay for your software fees or receive your refund. If you e-sign your consent through the program once, you will not need to sign it again. Your signature DOES NOT give TaxACT the right to give out your personal or confidential information. TaxACT will NEVER give any of your information out to solicitors for any reason. It is simply a consent that states you agree to be shown other ways to receive your refund or pay your software fees.
