Deleting a State Return - TaxAct Online

You may delete a state from a TaxACT Online return at anytime by following the steps below:
  1. Once you are signed into your return, locate and click on the State Q&A tab.
  2. Click on Continue.
  3. You will then be given the option to:
    • Complete the State Q&A by clicking Yes
    • Skipping the State Q&A by clicking No
    • Delete State by clicking Delete State
If you have more than one state attached to your return, you will need to click on No to continue to the next state return.
