New Account Needed Each Year

In order to use TaxACT Online for the current year, even if you have an account for a previous year, you will need to create a new account. To do so, simply access TaxACT Online and select the product you wish to use.

You may use the same Username and Password you had last year; however, the social security number (SSN) provided while setting up the account must match the one used on the prior year's TaxACT account.

If the SSN on your prior year TaxACT account was removed prior to creating your new account, the system will not have a way to confirm that the Username and SSN match up correctly. If this is the case, you may need to create a new Username and Password.
