SSN - Alimony Paid by Both Taxpayer and Spouse

TaxACT supports two social security number entries for alimony paid from both the taxpayer and spouse.

To enter alimony paid:
  1. From within your TaxACT return (Online or Desktop), click on the Federal Q&A tab
  2. Click Other Adjustments to expand the category and then click Alimony Paid
  3. The program will proceed with the interview questions for you to enter or review the appropriate information.
