Product Manager - Content

TaxACT is looking for a Product Manager - Content who will be responsible for overseeing all customer facing content and driving content related strategies and initiatives. TaxACT is a top digital tax preparation solution used by millions of US taxpayers each year. This person will have an opportunity to be creative, directly affect processes with their ideas and input, and be part of a team, developing TaxACT's content strategy. This role will report to the Chief Strategy Officer within our organization.

This position is perfect for a highly motivated professional who is excited about the opportunity to play a role in the continued success of a fast-growing internet business.

Overview of Responsibilities:

  • Manage oversight and strategic vision of customer facing content throughout the organization.
  • Develops strategies for increasing key KPIs leveraging content as well as define program success, develop tactics to reach goals and being the resident expert on content related products and customer experience within the organization.
  • Oversees efforts for a cross sectional team developing customer facing content.
  • Be the voice of content across the organization and help create and deploy best practices and a consistent voice across the organization.
  • Delivering and managing content creation and optimization efforts to support customer acquisition and transaction goals.
  • Continuously identify new ways to develop, implement and leverage content to accomplish broader corporate goals and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • eCommerce / B2C marketing or related software experience preferred.
  • Previous product marketing / management experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks to completion within established deadlines.
  • Ability to compile and analyze performance data and metrics and make decisions regarding campaign direction based on the analysis.
  • Desire to seek out and recommend process improvements.
  • Ability to interface with all levels of our organization.
  • Refined attention to detail, organizational skills, and an eye for consistency.
  • Desire to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, communications, marketing, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
